2024-2025 Audition

*Ivy Chamber Strings Orchestra (String orchestra for 10-17 years old, intermediate to advanced level)

*Ivy Chamber Strings Overture (String orchestra for 6-11 years old, beginning to intermediate level)

*Ivy Chamber Music Institute (a small group of instruments. For example, piano trio, string quartet, piano quintet, etc.)

Audition Time: 9/7/2024, Saturday, 9:30 am - 4:00 pm
Address: Yorba Linda Community Center

Application is due by 8/24/2024

* one 2-3 octave scale
* A solo piece which could demonstrate your highest level of musical achievement. (The solo piece is highly recommended to be memorized).
* Sight-reading (provided by the conductor during the audition)

For our young musicians to get more practice opportunities, we will restart our chamber music program during the weekly practice. String players are able to choose both the orchestra and chamber music program. Piano players may ONLY choose the chamber music program.
