Ivy Chamber Strings Won Top Awards In the San Diego Heritage Festival

On April 2nd, 2022, Ivy Chamber Strings, based in Yorba Linda Orange County, attended the San Diego Heritage Festival Orchestra Competition by WorldStrides and won Gold Award, Adjudicator Award, Outstanding Orchestra Award and four individual player Maestro Awards. Under the leadership of our conductor Mr. Brandon Miller, 28 young talented strings players between age 11 and 17 showcased their strong music skills after a year of preparation. Through their collective effort, the youth orchestra of Ivy Chamber Strings is now qualified to perform in the Festival of Gold at Chicago Symphony Orchestra Hall and Nashville Schermerhorn Symphony Center in the spring of 2023, and is offered performance opportunity at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Ivy Chamber Strings, a 501(C)3 non-profit organization, is committed to providing high quality orchestral training and guidance to Orange County young music players from 5 years to 17 years old. In addition to weekly rehearsals, students are given the opportunity to work with esteemed professional musicians to further their music learning in sectionals and master’s classes. We are looking forward to another wonderful and rewarding season for our young future musicians from Orange County.
